I think considering most of the games Jake's had this year, and first 1/2 - 2/3 of last year, he had a very good day. And I've been hard on him. Hopefully, he'll improve even, which would be super.

Yeah, a coupla bad balls, but every probowl QB has one or two most every game.

As far as 'crowd reactions', well, lets just say most of the same crowd also gasps in exclamation when one or two defensive rushers get 5 yards from the opposing punter, like they think the punt's gonna be blocked.

--Smitty, man that dude made Jakes day.

--Defense, all of them. Mcree even looked good, all the D linemen, even backups. In fact, the biggest D mistakes were on Lucas. Kudos to Gamble for throwing himself at Culpepper, I'm just sorry that he was hurt bad- I hate to see somebody hurt bad enough to not play next week. Well, except maybe Mexico or TO. LBs were all over.

If Jake gets a ball, it's for sure because of improvement. Or at the very least, spectacular play as in relative to what he's been doing.

And by the way, for anybody here- not pointing fingers, the back and forth and defending the defending of the 'I now for sure' over and over posts is getting very old. It makes you not only look stoopid, but downright hardheaded, in a bad way, whether you are right or wrong. And most of the 'owning' others, etc., is all in your head.

And 'winning' and 'owning' everybody on the board, while make make yourself feel all tingly with 'superiority' and all, but most folks here purty much thinks ya'll are asses and doofusis for it. So, congrats, being legends in your own minds and stuff. Some you remind of my nine and fouteen year olds playing in the backyard. Sometimes even they're both right, but they are 'children' about it, and it shows.

    Collin is a blowhard.

Does he know football? Yes--he will be the first to tell you.

    But he is a blowhard.

What other questionable throws? Your pulling that right out of your ass. He made ONE bad throw, on the checkdown to Davis. But he had two men in his face. One bad throw, out of 31. And I was at the game too, MacGyver.

Obviously you didn't get the memo to moan and scream "oh no!" Quit all that cheerful stuff man and jump on the "Jake still sucks, it doesn't matter what the stats say" bandwagon.

Well here's what I say to that:

Fuck anyone who thinks my opinion is shit. It's an opinion--not a fact. What is a fact is that Delhomme had 3 TD's, 0 INT's, and 340+ yards passing.

Another fact is that we are 5-2, and at 4-1 in the conference, we are tied for home field advantage in the NFC.

So a big "fuck you" to those whose like to piss all over wins, simply because they are not clean wins. After that Miami game, I learned something valuable: THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A BAD WIN.

I had to sit here an endure multi-paged threads on how we won ugly against GB, DET, and ARI. Thing is, they all count the same. Yesterday's win counts just as much as our win against Green Bay.

Now, you want problems. Go to Philly. Or Green Bay. Or Baltimore.

    Fuck the negativity.

Hammer likes to see things a certain way because he has been my bitch so often, my dickhead is imprinted in both sides of his cheeks.

And you chucklefucks should note that solarte already agreed with me, and he obviously isn't picking sides because of how he feels about me, unlike you two dumbasses who consistently argue with everything I say because I've obviously humiliated you enough to cause permanent emotional scarring.

    The salient points:
    #1) We won. Great.

#2) Delhomme still made some (not just one, Captain Moron and your homosexual sidekick) very stupid throws in addition to a bunch of good ones, so there is still reason for concern and hope for improvement.

So basically, it felt great to not only win but blow someone the hell out. With that said, it's best not to think that all our problems were fixed against the Vikings, or that our performance was really as perfect as the stats seemed to indicate.

The one to Proehl, as mentioned, and the one to the linebacker's chest left me saying "WTF?". The flea-flicker was questionable, but Colbert did have the best shot of anybody to come down with it. Besides those, I feel like he ran the offense well.

And yes, he does need to get better. One game doesn't make him Joe Montana, just as one drive didn't turn Chris Weinke into our starter. But it's hard to deny that he played terrific yesterday. His deep throws Smith and Gaines were pinpoint. His pass to Mangum in the corner, while on the run left, was excellent. Credit to Jake, the offensive line, the recievers, and a soft Vikings defense for making it all come together.

:bananalam We're in first place. Yeap-fuckin-eee!! :bananalam

BTW, you guys seen the "fake spike" move by Favre yesterday. ROFL!

I think he's starting to lose his mind around that team.

Since you are a regular Gil Brandt.

This is why I call you a blowhard. In typical Collin-style, you roll in here and act like you were the first, or only, one to see, hear, or do something. I was at the game, too. Sec 231. There were never any "massive groans". NEVER. It is a lie to say that there were.

The flea-flicker should have been caught. Granted, it was in double coverage. But Colbert had it in his hands, and dropped it.

As for the short pass, it was a checkdown to Davis. There were two defenders in Delhomme's face, limiting his ablilty to make a good decision. It was his lone poor decision of the game.

No. You didn't forget anything. You covered it all. One flea-flicker that was dropped, and one poor checkdown.

    21-30, 341 yards, 3 TD's.

    Lady luck shine on!
