    No one with the last name "Gabbert" is going to make it in the NFL. That is too hard to market so they have no interest in trying to make him a star. When is the last time a QB with a funky name did really well?

    If he changed his name to Montana Elway then he might have a shot.

    McShay13: Gabbert completed just 38-percent of throws beyond 15 yards in conference games. It's a concern. Pocket presence is inconsistent, as well.

    McShay13: Gil Brandt told me at combine to look into Gabbert's completion % on longer throws. I knew it wasn't good based off tape study...

    what troubles me about him, is his long passes in the videos i have seen looked awful. that, and "meekness."
