The 2005 lottery will be held Tuesday, with the results shown at 8:30 p.m. on ESPN before the San Antonio Spurs-Phoenix Suns Western Conference finals game. It has been six years since a Charlotte NBA team has been in the lottery.

That year we missed the playoffs on a tie-breaker and we struck lightening. We got the third pick and Baron Davis.

Let's hope lightening strikes twice :trophy:

Ya we got Cleveland's lottery pick too, it's the second worst pick in the lottery. If the worst team gets into the top three, then that pick would be 14. If that doesn't happen, it will be 13 or top 3.

Charlotte's own pick is the sixth pick at worst. We have one ping pong ball less than New Orleans due to a coin flip, so while both picks have basically the same chance at a Top 3, we will finish behind the Hornets if neither pick comes through. The worst case scenario would be a 6 pick, if three teams below us get into the lottery. The pick could also be 4 or 5, as well as top 3 obviously.
