Personally, the potential FA QB's coming up do nothing for me. Snake will want far more than he is worth IMO. Now if he wants to go with an incentive rich contract by all means come on in. But I could be just as comfortable with Peete, Fasani and a drafted rookie coming in so long as he has some freaking weapons to work with, and a new offensive coordinator ;) . Someone brought up the Kentucky QB in the mix. Is it me or does he physically resemble Dan Fouts a little? He did ok

For one, the idea isnt' necessarily a first rounder. The second thing is if you're going to be spending the same money, one vet and one grooming QB gives more bang for the buck than does two veterans, one fairly high level and one midlevel. If we're going to spend, and we must, it should be on a direction, rather than a bandaid.

Paul - yeah. He needs the beard. He's parts of Neil O'Donnell too, the good parts. I feel that Lorentzen will be a very productive starter in the pros, probably with a long career.

    Lorenzon's stupid though.

he's not terribly smart, but he reads. As a game manager he would do very well. I think people will overlook him for his conditioning more so than his mental abilities, he makes decent decisions, does what he's told very well, takes to coaching well. Our luck he'd get here and we'd be teaching him how to throw rainbows.

  5. I really hope that we take Ragone. I'm a huge Ragone fan and I'll be watching the game solely to watch his preformance. He's a big boy (254 lbs) but he's agile and can zip the ball. He isnt a guy who throws for 400 yards and 4 TD's a night and it seems like he'd fit perfectly in our run-happy offense. Please Coach Fox, take Ragone!:D

I was real interested in watching Ragone tonight and through 1 half and a second half possession- He's terrible and I don't want him. This might just be a bad night but, it's terrible he's not accurate- slightly mobile, and his arm isn't impressive. Id rather have gulp! Chris Simms--- I'm hoping we can get Palmer hough I think he's the real deal.

I'd be happy with any of the three (Ragone, Lorenzen, prefer Palmer), but we need to be looking at WR early with injuries and guys not declaring...which half that say they won't, will.
Still like what Lloyd has to offer and would be one of the top three Sr. WR's on most boards.

  8. You've also got to keep in mind that he's missing two of his best recievers and Ragone isn't known for airing the ball out. I'm a little dissapointed so far in his performance but he's still the guy that I want in here. Keep in mind, how many times do the Panthers air the ball out? Not many. Ragone doesnt have a great arm, but has great size, awareness, and all the intangbles you could want for a QB.

He has some catching up to do in mock drafts. Maybe he will slide a bit............. to the second rd ;)
