If Time Warner can't fucking afford the Braves sell them to someone who can. Getting disgusting watching players walk from the the team every year.

39.5 million for three years.Hard to believe.Over 13 million a year for a player who hit .284 with 12 HR's and 54 RBI's last year.I know he stole quite a few bases last year, but this free agent market is getting out of hand.I don't blame the Braves for dropping out of that bidding.

Furcal wasn't worth anywhere near that much, but it is frustrating that the Braves are so handicapped by their salary limitations. I simply do not understand why a corporate owned baseball team would be so cheap. Hell, I think Ted Turner even tried to buy the team back, but AOL didn't want to sell, yet they won't let Schuerholz spend any money. Fuck those dumb bastards and the horse they rode in on.
