From a digest thingy posted by joker:

After the Dallas game, me and my buddy were talking about Julius
    Peppers
getting that interception and running it downfield and how solid he
looked running the ball. We were joking around about how the Panthers
should use Julius in the offense like the Bears do with Urlacher
sometimes. So last night I am at the Wesley Walls show and I asked Wes
if he could pass a message along to Henning that we the fans would sure
like to see Peppers line up in the backfield just to scare the hell out
someone. Wesley then started smiling as was Dan Morgan and said that
they had been working on the 'tricky stuff' and pretty much left it at
    that.

So today I spent most of the day at Ericsson at a charity event
for the Courage House (By the way, Kevin Donnelly won the 2002 Ed Block
Courage award for those that follow this stuff) and talked to a bunch
    of
the staffers. All the supervisors have been passing down info that the
Panthers are going to be doing some crazy stunts this weekend. They
    have
been closing off the concourse and running drills in secrecy on the
    main
field and strange things like Peppers going into QB meetings and Morgan
hanging with the running backs. I talked to Rozinski for a moment as
well and even he said there was a lot of double talk and whispers going
on from the coaches and players and this weeks game.

Looks like John Fox has decided he is not going to be
conservative anymore. Time to pull out the stops and at least go down
swinging if that is what is going to happen...

I am looking forward to a very interesting game this weekend...

I don't know how I feel about it. I'm all for trick plays. Halfback pass, double reverse, that sort of stuff, but when you start lining up defensive starters, defensive STARS, in the backfield, you're playing playing with fire.

I am glad that Fox is doing something, and I'm sure it'll make the fans stand and cheer, but just how far are these gimmicks going to get us. Risk is big.

We won't win with the gameplan of the past 4 weeks - I'd bet big $$$ on that.

We're gonna have to take some risks to have a prayer of winning this one.
Risks can be exciting, and can pay off too.

I'd rather lose by taking some risks in an exciting fashion, than by losing with the same old boring conservative shit we been doing.

I'm all in favor of opening things up more with trick plays and such but putting Peppers and Morgan on O won't accomplish much. Especially with Morgan coming off an injury.

And that article or post about opening things up made me think of the first couple weeks of the season where we were running reverses and flea-flickers and now Fox has kind of gone away from those plays. Wonder why?

Nobody could win with that gameplan.

    Ironman Football...I like it.

Though unless the Charlotte Observer and the Gaston Gazette have it completely wrong, Morgan is out for this week's game. Unless of course this is a trick?

So if we know about it, how can the Bucs not know it's coming?

No, you don't get it, Y2.

Henning is "leaking out" that he's going open things up and be more creative this week.

But we are not, and as they are going to be expecting a double flea flicker, we are going to run sweeps strong side to Lamar Smith behind Chris Terry. They won't see it coming.
