fsu's spring game -- fsu sucks

i'm not sure that the offense even HAD an offensive line. the QBs were harrassed all day, the RBs couldn't get free and the WRs showed no separation.

yuck.

 

maybe the defense is that good? Aren't yall supposed to be god-like at LB this year?

 

yeah, but No. 1 LB ernie sims broke something and missed practice -- he's supposed to be back for the fall.

 

How many fans were there, Larry? They showed the USC spring game on ESPNU and ESPN2, some 38000 in attendance.

Nice t-shirt on sale in Columbia, the front reads "We've got something to be cocky about..." and the back reads, "There's a new Spur in town." I might have to get one on my trip to the capital city next Friday.

 

maybe 15,000 were there. fsu doesn't hold a "game" anymore -- and hasn't for years. it's a controlled scrimmage.

when you've got four starting linemen out and you're down to your #6 center -- things will get ugly. we'll see if there's any difference come august.

 

what happened to your line? FSU's always been deep.

 

All spring games are normally ugly. Last year our scrimmage ended in a brawl between both teams and it had to end early.
