I bet you Fresno State goes down about 5 spots in the polls for almost beating USC at USC, while Notre Dame didn't move a spot in the polls. Shows the how politics and money can get you a long way in College Football.

 

This is doubly frustrating for me, as I don't think USC is that good and I really didn't want the media to succeed in basically handing Reggie Bush the Heisman. Bush is probably the most electrifying player in college football, but look at Michael Vick and tell me if that makes you the best player. Whether you want to talk about the Heisman being for the player having the best season or the player most important to his team, Bush isn't either. But sure, that amazing performance was enough to seal the deal for him (although it still leaves him behind other Heisman candidates statistically - like his Pac-10 opponent Maurice Drew).
