I didn't really get a chance to watch it, but I heard both Corso and Herbstreet saying that Bowden needed to put in Chris Rix, so it must have been ugly. The boxscore certainly looks ugly.

This game was a complete embarrassment to NCSU as its offense showed the national audience exactly what it is. Hearing Corso say this was the worst offensive team he's seen this year is enough for Amato to begin the search for a new OC. Mazzone is terrible. What OC runs a play at least three times that gains four yards on third down when you need eight? I hope he's fired as soon as possible. If he isn't then I think its time to put some heat on Chuck. Somethings got to be done. It appears that Mike O'Cain's recruit may have been the heart and soul of this team, and those that don't know who that is I'll give you a hint, he wore #17 and his number is retired there now.

Who's worse- Noel Mazzone or Jeff Bowden?

    My choice is Mazzone.

I'm still     over riddel taking the over on this game

    Total offense

    FSU - 121 yards
    NCSU - 123 yards

it doesn't get any worse than that. And it had alot more to do with inept offense than great defense.

State had something like 26 yards in the second half. 26! and the only first down was on a bad interference call.

I would be pissed off if I sat through a cold rain to watch that crap.

I wondered the whole second half why Stone played as much as he did. And then I wondered even more, when, at the very end of the game, State absolutely, positively needed to score, they put Davis back in. What the fuck?
