One thing I noticed last year, that was different from previous years, was the lack of bonds in the team, no real friendships that were apparent. Sure, that's tough on a 1-15 team, but I saw more of commrodery (sp) on Detriot this year, and even the 4-12 team the Panthers had in 98.

This team was just surly, and even though we didn't have quite the charachter problems that transpired after 98, at least that team had some passion.

Part of this is indicative of the turnover we had, and the friendships broken apart. Wes lost Steve. Minter lost Davis. I even hear Jeff Lewis and Jeffers were close.

I know the Knicks and the As of the 70s won rings despite hating each other, but that's rare. Hopefully, we can develop some key players in house, and some of the level of trust can be restored.

Ahhh the thread reminds me of the ole Whodini Tune "Friends"

On a more serious note, I agree - there was a huge lack of friendship and just general feeling that guys wanted to play for each other - which is key to a team coming together..

at the team store they have some Barrow and Eric Davis practice jerseys for $100. If you're interested in having one sent on to you, let me know.

I see JP's wearing an eye shield. Guess that will help his speed by keeping more air off his sails, er, ears.
