    He is the best we have and he would be cheap to bring back. Besides that he makes plays. I would much prefer him to starting Branch or Davis at safety. I think Thomas Davis will be a linebacker rather than a safety once he settles into his permanent spot.

    That really does not speak too well of our safeties at all. McCree's okay, but I think we can, and need to do much better.

    I've said before McCree did a great job at what we hired him for, depth. Don't promise him he's starting but offer him a fair price to compete and hope he signs up. And hope someone will be good enough to beat him out.
