IMO the Panthers need slam dunks on their FAs. They should get some "known" guys that can play. Aquiring Stephen Davis should be priority #1. Boston or Price or another "known" bigtime WR is needed in FA too. That will allow for flexibility in the draft and allow us to go the best player regardless of position.

I don't want to waste money on a guy that might or might not be any better than Ike Byrd. Get a known guy that can make a big impact or spend your money on Ike and look to the draft to fill holes. Just my opinion.

Stephen Davis CAN'T be priority one until he's released... because there's a chance he WON'T be released

I thought Driver signed a pretty big contract in the middle of the season

the Panther insiders are pretty much idiots... they've proven that fact more than a few times.

That why I said "aquiring" Stephen Davis and not picking up Stephen Davis.

    Read for comprehension Brain.

    Steven Davis

I really like Steven Davis, Though he's not without nagging injury concerns.

To be honest WP there aren't many backs around anymore that don't have nagging injuries. Hell, even Holmes went down this season. You need 2 backs at least in the NFL today.

Agree, but with the Pro Bowl invite Neal's got a little more value. Gash's still got plenty in him and is obviously established...the Skipper family has a tie to Neal and I think we'll try to get him but fail...and turn to Gash.
