He's a drama mama but he's still one of the best. Aaron Rodgers contract
Aaron Rodgers' cap numbers the next three years for the #Packers:

    2022: $28.5 million (down from $46.7 million)
2023: $31.6 million (up from $7.7 million on a previously voidable year)
    2024: $40.7 million

Guards are making bank, which is interesting. So are defensive tackles. Maybe all of the RPO and quick passing stuff has the league prioritizing interior protectors and defenders.

I guess Tampa is the "winner" of March so far if you include Brady.

Bengals are fixing their o line, and they probably have a good shot at landing one of the top guards in the draft at 31.

The Chargers went YOLO for a title run, which I get. Maximize that rookie QB window. They'll be fun to watch.

Buffalo is doing a nice job of plugging needs with one year contracts, which frees them up to take the BPA next month. That's generally how smart teams manage free agency.

The Jaguars and Jets are still LOL. It's always hilarious when awful teams find themselves flush with cap room. They literally can't stop themselves from spending all of that money on stupid shit.

Probably too soon to draw complete conclusions but that rookie wage scale thing is kind of overblown. Only Wentz* and Mahomes had contracts in the draft region where the wage scale really made a dent, Flacco and Russ being later picks. Then shortly after all of these bargain QBs got really expensive.

To your point about guards and DTs, interior pressure is always underrated but I guess since the NFL only thinks of things after someone wins a super bowl using them you're seeing the Aaron Donald/Burrow effect.

The #bills have hired Mike Shula as a senior offensive assistant.

The NFL, as ever, rewards success.

Get that money aaron, don't let the team save even a dime to spend on defense or special teams.

I agree pressure from the 3 tech is underrated generally, but is the guard play related to the agile requirements of the "new" style of offense that the Rams (and others) ran where the guards and tackles need to get on to the 2nd level and pull more often?

My understanding is that they are not looking for your traditional road graders.
