I'm not convinced that a Miami team with Bosh, Lebron, and Wade really is a jaugernaut team. They'll be good, and will probably rack up 55-60 wins a year, but I just am not buying that those guys together can win a championship, let alone a string of them.

    Bobcats trade???

Toronto to bring back an asset or two in the wake of Chris Bosh’s departure but also avoid taking back Beasley. Which is believed to be the only sort of sign-and-trade that the Raptors would consider.

The proposed deal, sources said, would send Beasley and Rockets forward Jared Jeffries to Charlotte, land Bobcats center Tyson Chandler in Houston and create sufficient cap space for Heat president Pat Riley to offer max-contract money to Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh and James.

I'd love to get Beasley in all this drama.

That would be fantastic, assuming he's ready to listen to good coaching.

pretty big IF there. He's got the talent, but I don't think he's got the head.

In our position it's worth a gamble. It's not like giving up Chandler leaves us without a center, especially if Nazr comes like he did last year before getting hurt. Beasley wouldn't even start for us for at least another year or two. Stephen Jackson isn't getting any younger, and Beasley has the athletic body that would be a good pair with Wallace.

Also getting a backup PF in Jared Jeffries who makes Boris a good trade chip with Tyrus still on board.

Miami must be sure LaBron is on his way and everyone will take less:
Jeff Goodman of FOX Sports tweeted Thursday that the Miami Heat have offered Mike Miller a five-year deal worth $27 million to $30 million with a Thursday night deadline.

Goodman writes: "Miller has been told by Miami that the team is 'confident' LeBron James is coming. Miller could likely earn more money with [the] New York Knicks."

At first glance, this seems a bit fishy. If there's little room for LeBron, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh in Miami money-wise, why is the team extending this offer?

Well, Bosh and Wade are on record as saying they'll take less money, and Miller is friends with James.

As ESPN's Chad Ford and Marc Stein reported Thursday, the team is still exploring ways to dump Michael Beasley for more cap space, which could create some more room

    From Insider

The Heat won't make a decision on Felton until the big fish have been hooked, but they are doing their due diligence just in case they don't end up with the players they had hoped would sign with the team. Felton also plans to meet with the Knicks sometime in the upcoming weeks.

I guess LaBron didn't want to play with his future step father in Cleveland anymore. Art Modell just moved to the second most hated person in Cleveland

They still need depth or there's no way they're going to win in the playoffs.
