Steveophone is very durable. Played on I believe a bad ankle last year versus GB and that led to the fumble problem he had on that shitty ass turf.
I can live with his bad routes. I can live with his attitude. The drops and the fumbles fucking piss me off, though, because for a 5'9 man he's got a very wide wingspan and his hands are large. He should not be dropping punts or fumbling the football at all, and he doesn't totally grasp the idea of putting the ball in the sideline arm or covering it up.

  4. Maybew I could be wrong but I thought these were some decent players that might be a good pickup in the fa next year. Some of the ones that I had found aren't on your list though.
    OG: thomas(nyj/500k)/brzezonski(eagles/550k)
    OT: dotson(gb/650k)/page(dal/450k)
    Cntr: Mawae(nyj/3.2m)/long(jax/500k)/wade(jax/500k)
    DE: Johnstone(mv/500k)/scioli(ind/550k)
    TE:conwell(rams/ ?k)/kleinssasser(mv/600k)/hall(nos/350k)/davis(gb/650k)
    DT:thornton(tt/550k)/hunt(350k)
    LB:spikes(cinn/1.2m)/peterson/650k)/phillips(ne/500k)
    RB: ogary(den/250k)/huntley(buff/650K)
    WR: boston(cards/4.35m)/johnson(cleve/700k)/price(buff/500k)/engram(seattle/550k)/jackson(seattle/?k)
    CB:poole(den/450k)/bly(rams/600k)
    QB:culpepper(mv/1.4m)/batch(phins/400k)/king(tb/600k)

Personally I think that at rb we need to help out smith in case foster doesn't work out next season. DT I put that down because I think that will be the last straw with gilbert and they will want him to retire or do soemthing to help out the cap, so we'll need to have soemone for backup or to plug the hole with jenkins. LB i think needs addressed due to the game when fields and morgan where out and the rookies had a hard time with it. Yes, spikes would cost a little but he would finalize that our lb corp would be the best in the nfl and the others can be backup and release the lower level ones, in fact do that with the other positions that are addressed in fa also if they can get some of the holes filled with fa then our team will be looking much better for it. I think that culpepper wants to leave minn and they won't let moss go because they have to much invested into him. Poole has done nicely for us in the past and has been backup but is still good. For og we need to address through fa two og's because they have hardly any talent and donnally isn't worth paying about a mil for his talent level. I think if we could get engram or price I would be happy as a third wr. I figure that we could draft a cb the first round and a wr the second round. Now follow me because maybe I have mistaken the talent of this wr at southeast missouri state (ponder). This guy, ponder, has the same stats as rogers but is a little shorter. Rogers is 6-4 and 205 versus ponder is 6-1 205 plsu both of them run the 40 in about 4.48 . I don't know alot about college but I figured that if ponders is a big time sleeper maybe we could get him in the second round. I haven't seen him on any, I mean any mock drafts at all. Whether first round or second round mocks. Rogers has 1287 yards and 13 td's but ponder has 1450 yards and 15 td's. I figure that they might be about the same in talent but ponder's conference might not have as much competition but he is still good. I would like your guys ideas. Oh, and draft ol in third and first 4th round and best athlete after that.

Culpepper has another year after this on his contract... and at running back HUNTLEY??!?!? Boy you ain't from round these parts are ya?

But as far as free agents/needs go there's a list as long as my arm... but if we are active we'll probably go for 3 things

#1- QB or a Reciever This will determine what we draft. If we get a reciever we draft QB and vice versa. Personally my choice here would be to pick up Plummer and draft a Wide Reciever. However getting a guy like Boston or Price to come here and Drafting a rookie QB isn't an AWFUL thing either.

#2- TE With Walls either leaving this year or next the Panthers HAVE to address this spot. Of course EVERYONE would love to get Gonzalez, but I don't think he's in our price range. So I wouldn't be surprised to see us pick up a younger lesser known name and attempt to push him to the next level. Would be surprised to see a TE use as our 3rd round pick either.

#3- Offensive Line I think Chris Terry found his way to the unemployment line. We need at least one tackle, and probably one guard. Orlando Pace being the same as Gonzalez was. Love to have him but probably too expensive.

#4- Corner Back This is probably our smallest need because we have competent people for now, but if Dre Bly just WANTED to come home to NC I'm sure we could find a way to let his wish come true.

I'd take King over any on the list at the top for QB. I think some time on the sidelines has helped him and he showed nice poise when he came in relief duty a few plays this year. (I think that was King :)

With Dallas slapping Emmit in the face recently, they will not let Troy Hambrick go if they think he is the man, then they would look really stupid.
