At this stage if free agency most of the players are vet minimums and negotiated signing bonus's. I wonder if the Panthers have had talks with the former Giant receivers Hixon and ???

McClure has been a solid player for them the last 14 odd years. They are going to miss him, even he he was old as crap. That OL went to shit when he went down with an injury. Konz has some shoes to fill at C.

And maybe you might want to check what both Abraham and Osi have done over the last 2 years. I realise Osi technically has more left in the tank, but he needs to start showing it on the field rather than running his mouth. What was he crapping on about recently, the best defender in the league next year. Dude barely even started on his own team.

    Over the last 2 years:

    Abraham had like 20 sacks 10 FF, AV of 8 & 9

Osi had 15 sacks 4 FF, AV of 3 both seasons.

Vance was nice insurance on the DL. PFF had him with a +7.6 rating on 539 snaps.

Abraham had a +22.1 rating on 747 snaps

    Osi had a +0.7 on 653 snaps

    McClure had a +6.7 on 1059 snaps

    Owen a +4.9 on 170 snaps

    Cox +2.1 on 137 snaps

    Robinson +1.7 on 950 snaps

Don't know if it's already been mentioned, and I'm not reading through all the silly banter to check... but Domenik Hixon is coming in for a visit on Monday

McClure was solid once upon a time but sucked last season. Also, Michael Turner rushed for 270 yards on 47 carries (5.7 ypc) in the three games McClure missed in 2011. Don't let facts get in the way of your argument, and be sure not to admit that you were wrong either.

Thats awesome and all but that OL got Matt sacked 9 times the first 2 games he was out. 0 sacks upon his return.

Ask any Falcon fan what they think of McClure and Hawley at C.

He was friggen 35 last year, still registered an AV 8, his best ever and PFF graded him at +6.7 on over 1000 snaps. Give the old bastard some credit.

What, nothing to say about Osi anymore?
