    I was really hoping we'd trade for Alex Smith, with the idea that his "justwin-ness" would rub off on Cam.

    I would have loved to sign some guys on that list.

    But let's remember some of the guys we added are not going to count that much against the cap due to these vet exceptions or whatever is called. So maybe the differences between the amounts are bigger than they appear to be at first glance.

    I'm on a small slow cell phone right now so posting and googling is a bitch, maybe someone can see who, among the guys we signed, might be exception type of deals.

    No, there aren't. There are only a few, and every single one of those signed with a playoff team.

    None of the players you listed who signed with those teams are any better than the guys who did sign with the Panthers.

    John Phillips or Zach Miller aren't better than Ben Hartsock? Really, stop I'm about to piss myself from laughter.

    Terrence Knighton or Glenn Dorsey aren't better than Colin Cole? That's it, I'm sending you the laundry bill.

    You are getting to the point where you have less credibility than Obama and that my friend is accomplishing something.
