    Did they really, or do we form the perception of "clutch" based on teams winning? Flacco completed 52.2% in the first round against Indy, 52.9% against Denver, 58.3% against New England, and 66.7% against San Francisco. Some of his touchdown passes were badly underthrown, but receivers adjusted and made them look good statistically. He also had a number of potential interceptions dropped, just as Eli did during his Super Bowl runs. And of Retarded Manning's five playoff appearances, three ended in the first round. In those three losses he had six interceptions against only two touchdowns. Meanwhile Mark Sanchez is one of the very few active quarterbacks with a winning record in the playoffs.

    They aren't, though. Not even close, in fact.

    So why arent the Broncos on the hook for his whole salary then.

    Surely he wasnt technically released prior to 2pm?

    In the SB, that's pretty damn well as clutch as it gets baring some Phil Simms miracle shit.

    And Eli beating NE twice in the SB is pretty damn clutch too. They needed him to deliver late to win both games and he did.

    Seriously.

    Based on what? Their respective Owners, GM's and HC's seem to think otherwise.
