Has anyone seen it yet? Is worth going to the movies to watch?

I want to see this, just gotta find the right people to go with, slasher movies aren't any fun solo.

    The Jaded Horror Fan says:

It's a good one. Much better than I expected. They could have really screwed this one up, but I must say it's not too shabby.

It started off as fairly generic, but picked up nicely later on. The writer actually took the time to delve into the histories of Jason and Freddy, and both villians get "equal time" on their respective turfs and for getting their licks in. No matter who you root for, you should come away happy.

Don't expect to be scared, but this one should entertain. I'm just relieved that the movie didn't suck hairy gorilla balls. Horror fans should make sure to catch it in the theater.

I'd read about this in a magazine and was very skeptical, but after seeing the trailer at Jason vs. Freddy, I've reconsidered. It has potential, although purists older than me will likely condemn as blasphemy any attempt at a remake. As long as they don't try to make it "hip" and "funny," this one may actually have potential.

Ah, hell. Either way I'll probably ending up going to see it myself...

Freddy v Jason rooooooooooooocks. This is the best horro movie to come out in a looong time. I guess it doesn't help that I am a big Freddy and Jason nerd but still. The dialogue is bad but the story is good.

I hear ya ecliam. I don't like the "teen movie" theme either and I hope it doesn't suck. With the subject matter the movie SHOULD be terrifing and brutally realistic. It would need to outdo the original which I don't see happening here.
