Brad, meet Dan. Dan, Brad. :D

Hoover's a good threat. To me, he needs to be more of the H-back because as a fullback he's not as good a blocker. IMO, Goings is better at taking on the seal blocks on the corner.

Hoover is more of the H-back. I think Johnson was just picked because Fox also wanted a normal Fullback on the roster, to use in special situations.

Hoover's been great our of the backfield and with the occassional run. I think he's underutilized.

It'd be a shame to pin the sucess of a draft (2001) on a 4th round pick, because Morgan and Jenkins look like great picks right now. I feel vindicated after defending the Jenkins Pick against the the best and brightest of battle school for the longest time. We got a special teams player, a backup RB who I'd like to see more of, and a KR?WR/HOTDOG who does have speed and I hope can settle down as a 3rd reciever once we get a legit #2 out there.

Having a Barlow instead of Smith might have been nice though. That way, a Josh Reed or Andre Davis would have been an option for us this year, we'd have a good reciever opposite Moose, though I doubt we'd be able to utilize him right in this offense of Henning's. Still, Sandy would be likely to whine less about us not taking a reciever the past few years, despite the fact that their were no recievers available matching need the first day the pst two years (and that's including Smith, who was a first day pick, but had debateable value at that point.)
