Looked like Fox influenced offensive philosophy towards the end. Would have to think Elway doesn't want that kind of offense. Probably ditto with Manning.

Manning wasn't Manning but that Denver team last week had that ole Foxy smell about it.

It was there from the beginning. See Ravens playoffs 2012.

You mean the whole overrated 'winning' good team, rolling bandwagon shouldering, press reading group who choked in the end looking all conservative, with a plodding offense and outcoached defense with zero adjustments at the half?

    yep...sure....did

The "St. Doug" thing appears to have some merit. It's hard to understand why he was an attractive candidate to begin with.

The Contra Costa Times' Steve Corkran reports ex-Falcons coach Mike Smith would be Jack Del Rio's "top choice" as defensive coordinator if Del Rio gets a head-coaching job.

It's very strange to see Fox getting zero credit for Denver's regular season success but all of the blame for their playoff failures. You'd think there would be some sort of middle ground. Maybe it's that he's a solid head coach with a recent history of QBs bombing in the playoffs.
