lol there are articles all over this message board saying, McCants to go Pro, Felton to pro, May considering going pro. I asked you several times to produce articles where it said McRoberts or Sheldon were, for a fact, considering going pro. But you couldnt. All you have are your stupid-ass opinions that you post all over the goddamn hoops forum.

Well McCants is the only one for a FACT so far for you UNC, here is what ESPN insider has to say along with a Chris Paul article.

Wake sophomore guard plans to sign with agent

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Chris Paul got advice from his coach, his teammates and his family. He even talked with former Wake Forest stars Tim Duncan and Josh Howard.

In the end, when it came time to make a decision, Paul relied on himself.

The All-America point guard is giving up his final two years of eligibility with the Demon Deacons to enter the NBA draft, the second in what might be a long line of Atlantic Coast Conference players leaving school early.

North Carolina guard Rashad McCants made his announcement Wednesday, and several others -- including Paul's teammate Eric Williams -- are contemplating the move.

"I just got this feeling maybe a couple of days ago, that this was what I wanted to do," Paul said Thursday. "This is all still so surreal. I have no idea that I would even be in this situation at the end of my sophomore year. I always thought I would play four years, and then, God willing, I would have an opportunity to play in the NBA."

Nearly all his teammates attended a news conference on campus, along with about 30 family members and friends. Coach Skip Prosser was there, too, along with assistants Jeff Battle and Pat Kelsey.

As a sophomore, Paul was the leading vote-getter on The Associated Press' preseason All-America team, and he was selected to the first team after the season. He averaged 15.3 points and 6.6 assists for the Demon Deacons (27-6), who set a school record for victories.

Wake Forest also was ranked No. 1 for two weeks early in the season, the first time that's happened. Paul plans to sign with an agent soon, which would make his departure final.

"It was Chris' decision, and as he said, I think it's an irrevocable decision," Prosser said. "I don't think it's necessarily a financial decision. I think it's a decision based on challenges."

Without Paul, Prosser likely will rely on Justin Gray to fill in at point guard, a position Gray played a bit as a freshman. Williams, a 6-foot-9 center, averaged 16 points and 7.7 rebounds in a breakout season, and he admitted he's also thinking of entering the NBA draft.

"This is Chris' day, I don't want to do anything to take away from that," Williams said. "But his decision doesn't affect me. It's a decision that I'll make for myself, by myself and with my family. I'm just here to support Chris."

Players must apply for the draft by May 14. If they don't sign with an agent they can withdraw their name by June 21, one week before the draft is held.

National champion North Carolina might lose its top seven scorers from this season, if Raymond Felton, Sean May and Marvin Williams join McCants in bypassing their remaining eligibility. Seniors Jawad Williams, Jackie Manuel and Melvin Scott graduate.

Others from the ACC who have a similar decision to make include Duke's J.J. Redick and Shelden Williams, Maryland's John Gilchrist and Miami's Guillermo Diaz.

Paul hasn't yet asked the NBA to advise him where he might be drafted, although he expects to be a lottery pick. He might even get to play less than 100 miles down the road if the Charlotte Bobcats select him.

Chicago camp could be teeming with hedgersBy Andy Katz
    ESPN.com

The possibility of an age limit could scare more underclassmen players into this year's NBA draft than ever before.

There usually are a handful of players at the NBA draft camp in Chicago (June 7-11) who still have maintained their amateur status. If the NBA wants to open up the field to players who are still on the fence, there could be a record number of amateurs at the draft camp, leaving their status for next college basketball season in limbo.

The deadline to declare is May 14. The deadline to withdraw is June 21, a week before the draft.

Here's where we stand with some of the highest-profile players who have said publicly that they would declare, as of Thursday (this is not the complete list of Division I early entrants):

    Skinny on the declarers
    Player/School/Class Status Skinny
    Kelenna Azubuike
Kentucky, Jr. Will sign with an agent. He has family pressure with his father facing a prison term.

    Brandon Bowman
Georgetown, Jr. Didn't sign with an agent. To see where he stands with the NBA. He likely will return if he doesn't get a good vibe.

    Andrew Bogut
Utah, So. He could be the top pick, so he's in the draft. He had no choice but to stay in once it was clear how high he could go.

    Ike Diogu
Arizona State, Jr. Didn't sign with an agent. ASU folks say he's 50-50 about staying in the draft, but if he moves up to the lottery he could go. It all depends on his workouts.

    Torin Francis
Notre Dame, Jr. Won't sign with an agent. Injured his back two years ago and had surgery. Wants to see where he stands. He's likely to return for his senior season at Notre Dame.

    Francisco Garcia
Louisville, Jr. Will sign with an agent. Family pressure was one reason. Another was he and coach Rick Pitino said all along that he would leave after this season.

    John Gilchrist
Maryland, Jr. Expected to sign with an agent. Has grown apart from Gary Williams at Maryland. May not be ready for the league but he's ready to try.

    Mike Hall
George Washington, Jr. Won't sign with an agent. Wanted to get his name out. Wants to get an invite to Chicago, but isn't expected to stay in the draft.

    Chris Hernandez
Stanford, Jr. Won't sign with an agent. Needed to gauge his draft status and hopes to land a Chicago draft spot.

    Carl Krauser
Pittsburgh, Jr. No plans to sign with an agent as of yet. If he generates enough buzz to be a first-round pick, he could consider staying in the draft.

    Rashad McCants
North Carolina, Jr. Signing with an agent. Felt he was ready for the NBA after winning the national title. Likely somewhere in the first round, but could end up as a lottery pick with the right team.

    Pops Mensah-Bonsu
George Washington, Jr. No plans to sign with an agent. Wants to increase his name recognition and get to Chicago. If he were to get into the first round, he could consider staying in the draft.

    T.J. Parker
Northwestern, Jr. Likely headed to Europe to play. His brother is Tony Parker, so why not try to be a pro, too?

    Chris Paul
Wake Forest, So. Planning on signing with an agent. He's likely a top-five draft pick. Even though the season didn't end the way he envisioned, it was too hard to turn down being a high draft pick.

    Nate Robinson
Washington, Jr. Staying in the draft and will sign with an agent. He came back after declaring last season to get Washington deeper into the NCAAs. He got them to the Sweet 16.

    Anthony Roberson
Florida, Jr. Hasn't signed with an agent yet, but keep an eye on this one. He thought about it a year ago. If he's close to the first round, he could stay in the draft. He'll likely push this one to the max.

    Chris Taft
Pittsburgh, Jr. Planning on signing with an agent. He has visions of being a first-round pick after being talked about for the past year as a lock for the lottery, even though that might have been a stretch.

    Matt Walsh
Florida, Jr. No plans on signing with an agent. Hoping to create a buzz. He's at the IMG Academy in Florida trying to get GMs interested. Might not stay in the draft long enough for the Chicago camp.

    Kennedy Winston
Alabama, Jr. Will sign with an agent. Did three years with the Tide, got them to the Elite Eight in year two and felt he was ready for the NBA.

    Antoine Wright
Texas A&M, Jr. Hasn't signed with an agent yet. Trying to create some chatter about his first-round chances. He's working out in LA hoping to get some bites. Could be leaning toward staying in the draft.

    Bracey Wright
Indiana, Jr. Will sign with an agent. He obviously thought he was ready to make the jump, even though he's not being talked about as a first-round pick.

My point is you say articles from ESPN guys are useless, but ESPN guys are the same ones reporting the Heels considering it. If by your logic ESPN guys are useless then no Tar Heels are considering it. But still you can't even uderstand that. Maybe that's why you can't get in to Duke.

I'm not bitter, I'm just tired of having to explain to Brain what is a very simple arguement. Search for May, Felton, McCants, or M. Williams considering going pro, and there's a plethora of results. Look of S. Williams of McRoberts possibly going pro, and there's nothing. Brain knows this, I've given him plenty of chances to prove me wrong and all he's got is "if you say ESPN doesnt count for shit, then none of the UNC players are considering going pro" I was speaking more of something he probably heard on some talk show, or made up himself. Not Sportscenter or actual ESPN articles.

Its obvious your High School education is right up there considering your excellent paper writing skills, but I guess I have to explain AGAIN what I was speaking of when I said, "Well then no UNC players are considering it either if that's what you're basing your opinion on. That's a retarded ass argument you have there." Because apparently you're stupid as shit or trying to ignore you own ignorant comment. Which in itself shows your feeble minded.

    You yourself said

And I replied that you're fucking retarded because that is a national publication in itself. But then again time and time again you've proven your adolescent ignorance. But I guess there is hope for you... because you sure as hell aren't going to Duke.
