    from Panthers.com:
Injury update on running back DeShaun Foster: He went in this morning (Tuesday) and had arthroscopic surgery. They did find some loose bodies that they cleaned out, so I think it was a real blessing that they got in there and got that done. It went really well, and that should speed up his recovery.

I'm glad he went ahead and got this out of the way. Hopefully, this will prevent this from popping back up every three weeks.

regardless of what it does to get him back on the field THIS year its better for long term... that way he doesn't get as much wear and tear on his knees this year

  3. a lot of times, it never really heals until he has time to rest it...after the season. if it required surgery, it is more serious than just a sprain. I bet he misses 6 weeks minimum.

sigh. FUD (fear, uncertainty and doubt) about scopping pops up again.

scoping is a VERY MINOR surgical process. it's not going to increase the time it takes for him to get back - you heal from scoping in a couple weeks. The bruise is what's going to take a while to heal. in fact, the scoping helps in the long rung, because there's not some piece of bone or cartilidge floating around in there making your knee swell up and hurt. trust me, i've been through this with my knee and ankle.
