Foster agrees in principle

    Foster agreed in principle to a 4 yr contract worth 5 Mil with signing bonuses reaching 2mil.

    Also Hoover signed his one yr tender as did Louis Williams.

    0:06 PT: Steve Reed reports for the Gaston Gazette Carolina Panthers rookie RB DeShaun Foster has agreed to a four-year contract, according to GM Marty Hurney. "We have agreed to a contract in principle," Hurney said Thursday night. "Everything is done except for a few small details. But barring any snags, we expect to get the deal signed Friday morning." The deal is reportedly worth approximately $5 million with signing bonuses worth close to $2 million.

    I don't particularly like that it's just a four year deal since he got that much bonus money.

    I know. But with all the goings-on that we heard about getting Peppers in at $13 mil, when his contract is highly incentive based, and Foster basically gets the same bonus as Gaffney, but with three less years?

    The last I wanted was another player crying for a new contract the first season, this oughta do it.

    ok I wanta know how come NOTHING else has been said about this... was there anything on tonight's news I missed it??? But no other sites are saying anything... nothing on ESPN, Nothing on Yahoo Sports(TSN users), nothing even at the Charlotte Observer... did he show or not dammit?!?!? Its like the story that disappeared
