Beuerlein, Brockermeyer, Barrow, Shawn King, too bad he's a coke-head.

I ran with King a few nights when he was in Tampa hopping some all night bottle clubs shooting pool. Dude was cool, but yeah, he had other things on his mind besides football.

    1. Collins- i dont know whether he woulda gotten his act straight in CLT, but he sure has in NY. dude has a cannon, hits recievers in stride and except for the ocassional fumbled snap, has limited his turnovers pretty well.

    2. beuerlein- he's better than peete and a locker room leader like peete (if not better).

    3. michael barrow- coupled with morgan and fields... mmm...

Not much difference between Brokenmeyer and Stuessie. You gain less penalties and a little youth, but you lose some durability, and Stuss is a nastier run blocker. Pass protection is a wash.

Collins or B-line would have done a bit better, not sure if Steve can really be any more durable than Peete though at this stage.

As for Collins, its amazing how the threat of a benching can do to a player. It happened with Steve here in 1999, and happened with Collins this year after losses to the Texans and Titans. They looked finished, Fassel looked like he was out of a job, and there was talk of bringing in Johnson if they lost the next couple of games. Instead, Collins has the best 4 game stretch of his career, and Fassel gets hype for coach of the year. Very similar to B-line in 99.
