    And UNC lost to Santa Clara. Big Deal. They would whip any team in CUSA. Virginia beat Arizona and they are at the bottom of the ACC. Duke beat Oklahoma and Michigan State. UNc beat Connecticutt and Kentucky. Wake beat Arizona and Cincinatti. Miami beat Florida and UMass. Clemson beat South Carolina and Ohio State. Florida State beat Minnesota and Florida. In other words, from top to bottom ACC teams have beaten the top tier teams of other conferences. And now they are beating up on each other. No other conference can.

    that was the only point I ever tried to make out of this. I did not bring Charlotte into the equation. Charlotte can suck ass all we want and not be able to compete, whatever, but the fact is, the ACC is not the best basketball conference, nor are they anywhere close to it if a bottomfeeder from another conference can come in and do what VaTech has done.

    So, your argument is that a coach who has not had much success with a lot of talent came to a program that has a long history of being bad took a team that finished at the bottom of an inferior conference and made them a great team in one season?

    yeah, that makes sense.
