You mean like trying to argue that UNCC didn't have patsy schedule last year by saying that Stanford and St. Joe's had crappy ones too?

You can say whatever you want about Charlotte. It's not about Charlotte. We could have won every game or lost every game.

The fact is, a team that was a bottom feeder in the Big East is in the top half of the ACC. Since Charlotte does not play in the ACC, we don't factor into the equation. Our team may suck and our conference may be god awful, but we don't have anyone as bad as VaTech in 4th place.

You act like that means anything. It doesn't. St. Joes was a #1 seed last year. This year they aren't shit. Teams rise and fall, sometimes meteorically each year. Doesn't mean a damn thing except you guys have no point.

That's a steaming pile of fecies and you know it. St John's lost a national POY and two NBA draft picks. Va Tech has gained neither. In fact, they have a coach who's CUSA team, despite having the kind of talent last year's St. Joe's team had, never sniffed the NCAAs. Greenburg is a freaking hilarious interview, but he isn't a good coach or he would have at the very least made one single NCAA tournament with talent like BB Walden and Altron Jackson. After all, our league is shit, right? A coach that couldn't cut it with top tier talent in CUSA is now in 4th place in the ACC. Fucking hilarious.

Thanks for making yet another point for us Sly. Keep'em coming.

No one looked out and picked the worst 3 year stretch since the mid 60's. Its simply the latest 3 year stretch...which is why it makes the most sense to compare. Get it?

that speaks more to the superiority of the Big East than to any dificiencies the ACC may have.

truly, it does. you can put the standings of the two side by side and ask "who would win this game or that game?" but the fact is, the Big East is stronger and better and has and will continue to prove it in the tournament. If Duke is unfortunate enough to meet Connecticut in the tournament, Duke will get spanked. Sly can back me up on this.

Ehh... Va Tech lost to freaking VMI. VMI. And that isn't an isolated incident. They've been bottom feeders for years. I think they've upgraded their talent a tad, but not to the point where they should be anywhere near the top 4 of the "world's greatest college hoops conference".

I agree with you on the strength of the Big bEast. Best conference in the country. Justw ish their teams would start taking some road risks (most of them currently take none).

Actually, with the luxury of hindsight, I'd say that I probably wouldn't hire Ricky Stokes to coach the Globetrotters.
