    The Big East next year will have a lot of good teams, but they'll also have 16 teams! That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard, and that conference is too big. If 8 teams make the tournament, they'll still have 8 teams out of the tourney. They'll be top heavy, but the bottom of the conference will be absolutely terrible. On a different note, with an N.C. State win, Virginia Tech will be 8th place in the conference after that crazy finish in Clemson. Clemson's going to the postseason for the first time since the year after Barnes left for Texas.

    Providence lost to Winthrop.

    NC State wasn't a "bottom feeder" back in November/December, were they?

    They were playing well (N.C. State) but they weren't really playing anyone worth mentioning and that was right when West Virginia was getting hot, and at the beginning of N.C. State's slide. It was nice seeing Duke crush Miami tonight, and I'll put money on Virginia Tech losing this weekend to finish at 14-13 and 7-9 in the ACC. if they lose in the first round of the tournament, they will have gone down in wins from last year with pretty much their entire team returning and Greenberg having a more stable hand on the coaching reins over in Blacksburg

    That was around the time Bethal got sick, And Hodge was injured and sit out the West Virgina game. It really made a difference. Keep calling the Pack a bottom feeder. They started off in conference 3-7 and with a win Sunday vs Wake could finish at 8-8 and 4th place. With the injuries they've had I will take it.

    ACC lifer Clemson rushes the court against Virginia Tech. Nuff said.

    And don't give me the bullshit it was a "great ending".
