The reason that UNC is so much better this year has a lot more to do with Felton getting better from the outside, the team deciding that Roy might actually know what the fuck he is talking about, and McCants growing up.

Even if we did not have Marvin, we'd still be a lot better than last year.

 

I agree with you, having a core team come back will almost always make a team better. They develop more chemistry and evolve as players. There is more to making a team better in college than just adding in new talent.

I'm saying our league is picking each other apart but beating the supposedly good teams outside of our conference. You can take away our top 3 teams and we still have the 5th best conference RPI. That is a fact and demonstrative of the strength not weakness of the conference.

 

Clemson is young and inconsistent, MD is a freaking headcase, UVA is just plain beat up from losing, Tech has underperformed, partly caused by injuries.
