Looks like the first high school phenom,Brandon Jennings , may go to Europe for one year instead of one and done in college. This kid has taken the SATs three times. Only for the dumb ones or do you think this could be the possible start of a trend?

Well, they also have the opportunity to go to the NBDL. Europe undoubtedly pays better. I'm surprised more kids haven't gone the euro/nbdl route, I'm sure others will follow.

If I were a good enough player I would consider the Euro option myself. There can be good money made there on some of the wealthier teams plus you get to live in some very nice countries and experience a different culture and lifestyle.

I've heard of at least two other players that say if Jennings goes, they'll go too.

Smart kid to go this route. He's gonna miss out on all that college coed poon, though. I'd take that over some stinky europeans any day...

I wonder how many European teams would even be interested. Their style of play and competitiveness generally don't suit immature athletes who do little more than drive & dunk.

That and I'm sure many Euro teams aren't gonna want one and doners. I could see contract negotiations getting tough.

I saw him play in the winter against Gaston Day. Mans got game.

I remember one kid at an opposing high school who had an offer from State if he could just make a qualifying score. A couple of times during the game the crowd chanted "S-A-T, S-A-T." I don't recall if I participated, but I hope to god that I didn't because that was one of the shittiest things I've ever experienced in person.
