....this Jeremy Greens chat response to a Panther question:

Josh (Charlotte NC): Key is in the Queen City now. What's your take on the move? Does this and Carolina's other FA moves put them as a favorite the win the whole deal?

[IMG] Jeremy Green: (4:33 PM ET ) I said last week that is where he should go and was glad to see him make that choice. First off, he is an excellent compliment to Smith. Second, he loves Henning the OC and he knows how to manage "key." I wish they would have re-signed Witherspoon, but they will address the LB spot in the draft. They have had an excellent off-season and yes, they are the favorite right now in the NFC.

who the fuck is this guy?

And while he doesn't directly state that Henning was OC in NY, he wasn't. Not while Keyshawn was there. I'll state it here every time anyone says otherwise, because while Dan's a great guy to talk with, he had literally no responsibility over Johnson. Parcells and Charlie Weis did.

I am not sure I understand the criticism. I posted it primarily for the "team to beat" comment.

Just don't know who he is. The Henning-Johnson comment is a separate peeve.

He is commenting on the draft and free agency and works for ESPN. Other than that I could not say.

Don't know if you heard it, but Key mentioned his familiarity with the Henning Offense during his presser. Talked about his conversation with Henning during this visit, and said Henning quized him on some plays. Key answered all with little problem (if any problem at all). Henning said its all still the base of what he learned with the Jets.

I don't think he is even indirectly stating that.

that's fine, but he wasn't the OC. But at least we know that Key remembers Henning's seven plays.
