Yes, but it's really only his second recruiting class.

3rd year, 2nd recruiting class..call it what you want. 1 win sucks and his defense is HORRIBLE for such a defensive minded "genious." He better really step it up next year.

I am not arguing that he is getting the results that I want, but the Torbush/Bunting class of 3 years ago is adding about squat. Everybody knew that Torbush was gonna be gone and they used that. Take all the decent JRs out of any program in America and see where you end up. This team is basically all FR and SO and that is a tough row to hoe.

And you're right, he had better step it up next year.

if the defense and the offense both sucked I could buy the fr and soph thing but....the offense is playing well enough to win football games.. a lot of them. When you score 47, 27, 34, 31, 28, 21, you should have more than 1 win. No problem on the offense with fr and sophs.

Well, our QB is a SR, and it's easier to have an impact as a skill position player than a O or D lineman. But I think part of the problem is that the DC is over his head. I am guessing he's gone next year. But the O is turning the ball over too, like giving MD 2 TDs (INT and Funmble) in the last 4 minutes of the first half.

Yep, next year will be his make it or break it year. One thing to keep in mind with football is that a lot of players redshirt their freshman year, well the freshman are playing for the most part this year.

Imo, I do think JB should be playing a different defensive scheme, but that is just from what I see. I imagine he is trying his best to keep it as simple as he can for this young group, but the problem is it's too simple so the opponents are definately lighting it up.

I am guessing he is going to have to get 5 or 6 wins next year to keep his job.

I don't know who loses what players next year, but yes I agree, he will need that one big win.
