    Larry, I have been a Tarheel fan for a very long time. This is the absolute worst football team I have ever seen from anybody, not only them. If Bunting just happens to turn this whole thing around I'll give him his due. Do I see this happening? NO, but I've been wrong before. I'll still pull for them, win or lose, but I also reserve the right rip a HEAD COACH that has brought NOTHING to the Tarheel program. IMO they have sank to an all time low and the stats back that up. Attention to DETAIL is what makes or breaks most programs, its the little things. Bunting appears to run a SLOPPY program and it shows up on the football field on Saturday afternoon. Some guys have it and some dont. We've never been an elite team by any stretch of the imagitnation, but what HE has turned this program into is a laughing stock. That is unacceptable. Props to all the Tarheel bretheren for fighting the good fight, but Bunting has run this team into the ground. Maybe he will do the rest of us a favor and step down.....and take Baddour with him. Thanks for your candor.

    Althought I strongly disagree Larry, I respect your opinion. The only thing I can say is A.D. Dick Broudour needs to leave. Thats why we dont have Dean, Mack, and our baseball coach. He sucks, so intern We suck. Bunting is the best fit though.

    On the Fla. State fact is what was on the Goheels website.....sorry if thats wrong.

    The Tarheels have continuously gotten worse since he got there. Blame it on the AD if you want but face it, your alumni coach sucks.

    Wow. I'm glad you weren’t an influential VT alum back in the early 90's Larry. If you were, we'd be on our 5th or 6th coach by now and Beamer would be enjoying a fine career selling insurance or golf clubs somewhere in Virginia.

    I understand UNC has blown chunks for two solid years now. But I'm all for giving a guy 4-5 years too. That way the guy at least gets to coach his recruits. I don't see how a program can sustain itself by switching gears every 3 years. UNC is not a football school. Not gonna be either. Especially now with the changing face of the ACC. So a good team every third year or fourth year seems reasonable. That may suck to the UNC fans, but I don't see where tossing a guy overboard every 36 months makes things any better.

    your team is going to win one game this season. duke -- YES DUKE -- is going to kick your ass. you only beat them on a last-minute field goal a year ago -- and you got worse and they got better. shit, they went toe-to-toe with tennessee on saturday for three freaking quarters. yes, that duke. DUKE for christ's sake. freaking DUKE is going to stomp a mudhole in your backs.

    jesus christ, have some respect. get rid of bunting and get a real coach in there. what in the hell makes you think that he can still recruit kids to a 1-11 program?

    get your heads out of the sand.

    you've got wake, tech and duke left this year. wake pounded your ass last season -- and i mean pounded. tech lost the leading rusher in the nation last year and STILL whipped you.

    your team is a disgrace to the ACC.

    have some respect.
