    WAY TO GO, HB!!!!!!!!!!

    That is just awesome!

I remember reading somewhere that 2 lb. per week is a good steady loss to aim for, so don't get discouraged if you don't hit lose 3 every week. Slow & steady & PERMANENT is what you want :)

Kudos, man--I'm proud of ya!

I've been on the program for 8 weeks now. I weighed in at 267 pounds last Saturday, bringing my loss total to 37 pounds since I started.

The new pants I bought a month ago are already starting to get baggy. I've bagged up and given away about 1/3 of the clothes in my closet because they're too big now. I hope to be in the 250's by Thanksgiving.

Dude - that's awesome. Keep hanging in there. Have you stepped up your exercise routine as well? Make sure to challenge yourself there as well, as in the long run exercise will be the key to keeping the weight off.

That kicks ass!!! Keep it up! Can you tell any difference yet physically? Last time I asked, you told me you couldn't.

Yeah, I have. I'm lifting for strength now, instead of cardio. And when it gets too cold/wet to walk outside, I'm going to be spending more time on the elliptical and lifting 2 days a week instead of one.

I'm starting to, yeah. Most of the difference I feel is from the exercise, but what I'm feeling (physically) from the weight loss is flexibility for the most part. I don't feel as restricted when I move, which is a cool feeling.

You are doing so well, HB. I'm inspired! Thanks for sharing.

Hockeygirl, you are looking great! Can't wait to see you guys in Charlotte next fall. That will be a real treat. I won't recognize you, HB. I'll have to look for Hockeygirl and the guy with her!

Fantastic results HB! :drums: Keep it up and don't get too caught up in the holiday feasting, but don't forget to loosen up and enjoy it too. I've always heard if you can just maintain through the holidays then you can kick in high gear once again when they are over. I've actually heard that it can be helpful to take maintenance 'break' every now and then, that when you start back up your body responds better. I don't actually know how true that is. So don't really listen to me. :buck:
