Thanks, Fred, that was really helpful. I think I can rule that out. While I have a number of those symptoms on a pretty consistent basis, I have other medical reasons for them. And I don't have pain in that many areas. Neck, upper back/shoulder area, & to a lesser degree some lower back pain. It's just the upper back & neck that are seriously painful a lot of the time. No problems with the front side of the body or the limbs (except the occasional numbness in the arms, which I feel is coming from the tension & spasming in the scapula area).

I had the same thing last year, AK. The pain was so bad that I was in tears sometimes and numb at other times. Mine was a result of using my computer mouse.

I ended up having to get a keyboard with a built in mouse.

And this thingy helped a lot! Kind of pricey and I don't have to use it much anymore, but I'm glad I have it when I need it. It kind of expands on the tennis ball deal.

    Hope it gets better!

Thanks Big Mark!! I always love the kudos. Massage is a great way to relax, ease pain and a great complement to a new years resolution of working out. massage helps your muscles heal faster and cuts down on soreness. I am having specials on Valentines day gift certificates. And as always, great discounts for board members.

And while we are on the subject, I also do corporate chair massage. Like stargazer said, you can get tremendous stress just from sitting at your computer. (And god knows some of you are on it A LOT :)) I have a massage chair and travel to different companies, why not yours? Charlotte included. I typically charge a $1 a minute and go for a max of 15 min per employee. Some companies let employees double a session for 30 minutes. I usually spend about 4 hours at each company. Most companies just provide the space and the employees pay for it themselves, but some companies pay for the whole thing.

PM me if you are interested in a massage or have a lead on a company that could use my services. Thanks!!
