    Yup, they are a cool Japanese band. The song I personally like most theirs right now is Forever Love, listened to a few others and they were all pretty good, but i can only understand little bits of it, being mostly in japanese and all.

    BTW do the Japanese group use eastern scales in their stuff?

    i know this: hiroshima uses this one weird foreign sounding string instrument. it is their signature style/sound. and they're not even foreign. them guys are from new york but third generation japs... oops, i meant japanese.

    they sound forin, they look forin, but they are yanks! brain washing mofo'n yanks!!! them posers better get their shit together... ;)

    keiko matsui is for real, tho. she aint posing or nothin. she just rocks.

    eastern scales? wha? talk english. some of us here are ignorant. just cuz we dabble in music dont mean we know scales! ;)

    Well, our Western, not just cowboys, music is made up of 1/2 tones, you know, like in "chromatic" scale the notes are in 1/2 step increments. Well, in most Eastern cultures/music, they's often times in 1/4 tones and I heard in Turkish music, often in smaller steps, e.g. 1/8 steps/tones. Theys don't foller our tempered scale and overtone series. blah blah blah

    they do the opening music for ming tsai's east meets west show on food network.

    he had them on one episode -- really cool dudes (and a woman).
