first off, you have to care what jesus thinks. builder's point to this whole thread, is why do these people feel the need to infiltrate gay pride anyway? and it wasn't even so much that they were there, it's that they were so militant and defensive. each one that spoke to us had so much aggression and anger. no one, gay, straight, or otherwise would be receptive to that kind of approach. when i heard the "preacher" compare us to child molesters is when i turned a deaf ear to whatever any of them had to say. that's just ignorance and i don't care to associate with that kind of person. none of them were christlike in their mission.

I am not defending those people. I am addressing the point that was mentioned earlier about whether or not you could be gay and a christian.

 

I really do not remember ever hearing or reading that the New Testament says it is a sin to eat pork.

This is why homosexuality is keeping you from Christ. It is not that homosexuality is an abomination. It is that you will not agree with Christ that it is a sin.

Dude, there are tons of things in the bible keeping me from Christ. Even before I knew myself that I was gay, I had rejected Christianity.
