State played quite possibly in the best NCAA game ever.

 

Well, let's see - off the top of my head I can come up with

Boston College - Miami Doug Flutie - enough said
Alabama - Miami - National Championship game in like 1991
About every Oklahoma - Nebraska game from 1975-1985
FSU - Clemson in the mid 80's with the puntrooski
Marlyland's comeback against Miami
Penn St over Miami for the Nat'l Championship

If you think that was the best college football game ever played, you need serious professional help.

 

You gotta stop sniffing the glue before you post man. I think State played above their potential and could have even won the game, but.................

1) This wasn't a #1 vs. #2 team or two top 10 teams for that matter.
2) It was nothing more than a shootout.
3) None of those great plays that everybody will talk about for years, just a bunch of good plays.
4) This wasn't David vs. Goliath either. State is a middle of the road team, if they were maybe a I-AA team or something or if this were the last game of the year and OSU was undefeated and NCSU hasn't won a game. This isn't Rocky!!!
5) The truth of all of this if OSU hasn't lost a game towards the end of the year, the BCS punks will point to this game as a reason that OSU shouldn't be there.

 

best game ever? not even the best game of the day.

 

So true, even though not many pts, I personally liked the FSU-Ga. Tech game. I tell you one thing if Tech can keep a little talent around Ball, he is gonna kick some ass in the ACC. That kid can throw just about any pass as a freshman.

Don't think I said I was you dipshit. Know who you are talking to before you start with running off at the mouth. I pull for State and was hoping they would win yesterday. But if you think a team that barely beat a team that is 1-2 on the season is going to help their BCS points you are a complete dumbass. Do you even keep up with the BCS each year? All they care about are how their numbers come out in the end. The only way this doesn't hurt OSU is if NCSU can end up winning all or most of their remaining games.

I am just being realistic, and back to the main topic is that this was not one of the greatest games of all times.

The report on the Heels is they suck in football, shit that's not so hard to admit because they do. I am guessing you must be a NCSU fan that can't admit the truth. If NCSU had won the game then maybe that would be different, but they still haven't done a damn thing to prove it.
