    I admire your ability to be able to continue posting while all of this is happening to you. If it were me, I'd be in bed the whole time I wasn't puking or shitting. That's some dedication you got going there....

    i went to the doctor. he said it sounds like salmonella and he is running a test on my stool (i was quite proud to bring him the prize for being my doc)...he put me on a regiment of gentamicin and glucose water...in addition he is making me drink 100 oz of water a day for the next week. results are going to come back monday. he said i would probably be better by then anyway.

    he said it probably came in from the peppers i was eating...he said they often use human feces to fertilize their farms...thus it could be all over it...i about lost it again.

    I've had salmonella and my God, it was the worst pain I have ever experienced. It was four days before I could actually get to the Doctor. When I finally did, I got a nice IV drip and an injection in me bum and felt like a million dollars :trophy:.

    really? thats good.make me feel better...i have started to feel marginally better actually...he was saying my digestion and stuff may not be normal for several months

    That's true - but you get to a point, where even feeling 1% better is an improvement. It does take a while to settle down and you can `trust' to hold anything in your tum for longer than 30 seconds...when you get over that hurdle, it's lovely. I hope he gave you some pain relief and an injection, even to stop the vomiting and squits. I got mine on a Qantas flight. I'd been to Bangkok and scoffed down dishes from Fear Factor. I get on the plane, have some egg dish - and `Hello Dolly' :mad:.

    It was great going through customs from a flight from Bangkok, sweating and looking nervous. Neat :sarcastic.

    you/we all should be drinking this much water, anyhow. there's only 128 oz. in a gallon and you should be able to drink that much in an entire day...

    not salmonella ... he wants to do more test but i am feeling somewhat better so i said not to bother the $$$
