I liked the uniforms. Good therapy. Start talking about the uni's to get our mind off the crappy play. Butch Davis may want to look at his coaching staff. Winning in the ACC will not be a piece of cake in the future. His ACC record is what, 7-12, since he has been at UNC. Recruiting is one thing, coaching is another. I do believe Davis can recruit. They need an offensive coordinator. That's BS, not running the ball Thursday night in the 4th QTR. We could end up 4-8, or 5-7 when this season's over.

 

I was at the game. Still waiting for the pain to wear off. So I'd prefer to talk about the uniforms instead of TJ Yikes performance.

Don't care for the uni's. Probably would have liked them better with white pants. They looked like HS uni's to me, but I don't have a real problem with Navy.

Navy became a tertiary color for football during Dick Crum's years. Yep, there is a history at UNC of Navy jerseys, but they were pretty limited back in the day. My favorite Heels unis are probably the ones from the latter Bill Dooley days. Blue & white with the oval NC emblem on the helmet.

I'm a traditionalist when it comes to uniforms and prefer the simple classic looks. One of the reasons I love the uni's that ND, Bama and Penn State wear.

 

basketball team is going to wear red in the shorts this year for the 100 years celebration. in the 50's they wore red on the paints.

 

Shoop is on the hot seat. He went away from the underneath passes that were working in the 1st half. Yates isn't a good enough quarterback to throw other type passes.
