Could be, seriously doubt it though.

Did you watch the whole game? Florida looked like they didn't even want to be there.

I thought Fla. looked good except for the end of the first half and the second half when that BIG Michigan D wore their ass out. Also Henne outplayed Tebow but Tebow got no time to do much in the second half even though they did take the lead for a short time. Michigan wanted it more.

I agree on the wanted it more part. That's pretty much THE most important thing in bowls. Michigan underachieved all year too. They were not quite as bad - on paper at least - as they were made out to be. Some dumbass on their coaching staff just had no idea how to stop the spread.

But just like Michigan played better than they had all year, I am sure I saw a better Florida team a couple of times during the regular season than the one I saw last night. They looked a step slow.

They were clearly the better team on that particular day, which is what the playoff whiners swear by. It wouldn't have even been close if not for all of Michigan's silly turnovers. UM was just more motivated and more physical.

Jake Long is a beast and Florida jumping up and down on the midfield logo before the game only seemed to inspire the Wolverines.

You would think Fla. would have platooned different (fresh) guys in all game to take that monster on.

Jake Long just doesn't look athletic enough to be a good pro lineman.

Any team that comes out with that effort deserves a blowout loss, the only thing that kept it from being one is that Michigan just wasn't that good. They were playing a lot harder, and UF did little to respond.

I thought Michigan had a shot because they had a QB who could hit the deep ball. Florida's corners all year have been piss poor and Mike Hart would be able to keep the DB's honest. It's real evident that Tebow's numbers are really padded after this game. He goes 17 for 33 and gets 4 TD's. Him and LeFevour (Central Michigan) run the same exact system of the spread where the running back is almost a second option and LeFevour was just one TD away from having twenty rushing and twenty passing TD's like Tebow. It's just that Tebow doesn't share the TD's with his running backs at all so his TD numbers are greatly inflated.

Unfortunately for you this was a college game and he was More than good enough for anything Fla. had to offer to cancel him out..
