Flag Football Tournament...

    this Saturday afternoon at Catawba College in Salisbury. For those of you who don't already know, my organization holds sporting events to raise money for children with cancer. This one is for 5 year old Cody Sharp and will have 6 teams, 2 game guarantee, game shirts for each player, refs and announcers. All of this for the low, low donation of $20 per player. First game will kick off at 12 noon.

    We HAD 6 teams signed up...but the rain cancelled it. Remember how bad the big field was last time? It was under standing water this time. I think we'll lose at least 2 teams due to reschedulig. I'm leaning toward drawing names the day of the tournament to put the teams together. More evenly matched that way.

    what time do you think games will actually get going? I probably can't get there until ~1pm

    also, how/when are they picking teams?

    Yes, we're not rescheduling again. Bring snow shoes, fins, cleats, whatever...but we're playing tomorrow :)

    I spoke too soon. Catawba's coach called and said he would not let his team play on that field...it's been rescheduled again. February 22 at noon. :(
