    There's a much better chance of that happening than Phillip winning the Heisman. And Rivers would probably be happy to get either one. :D

    Hey...lets get back to Fitzgerald...

    White didn't show that he was a great player last night. When faced with a defence that made him look for his second and third reciever, get some pressure, etc....he looked average. Had alot of yards...but they were trying to make up a deficit.

    As I said before...White has benifited from being in a good system and on a great team. Teams shouldn't win the Heisman.

    Fitz has shown that he can produce when double teamed...has made spectacular catches....been clutch for his team....all while being the primary object for opposing defences to stop.

    FITZGERALD....go recieve your award!!

    Just wondering..

    Fitzgerald is clearly a top canidate for the hesiman (a trophy I could care less about anymore) But Is Fitzgerald even the best WR in the country?

    I'd take him over Roy, no question about that.

    USC 's #1 Mike Williams made some impressive catches and at 6'5 230 lbs has Owens like size and speed.

    But right now I think Fitz is a better player. He has uncanny body control and catches everything. Mentally he pays attention to details. As for measurables, he has the speed, and at 6/4 225 is nothing to sneeze at.

    Not so fast my friends.......Darren Sproles should be up for the Heisman this year and may get his chance. Seems as if some writers after last nights win may change their minds as to who they will vote for.

    How's that homerish? If you don't think Sproles is a legit Heisman candidate after last nights game, you're blind. I couldn't care less about KSU, but I do realize that he had a helluva game against a helluva defense. Not to mention leading the entire planet in all-purpose yardage. He sure changed my mind. :D

    How can you argue about White not showing up last night, but not bother to mention that Fitz was shut the fuck down last week. What exactly is the differance? He still has insane numbers, 40 TDs and 8 picks. I don't think he wins though.
