    Is getting a raw deal. Saying he needs to go after some speed guys and saying black dudes isn't being racist. Fuck being PC

    He should've just said they need more athletes on their team and everyone would have gotten the point without him having to mention black kids.

    He's not getting a raw deal. He apologized. The academy backed him. End of story pretty much.

    I think it was a compliment, and that the whole controversy is just people wringing their hands over what the reaction might be, not that there actually was one.

    The Academy did force him to apologize, which was cowardly. What he said was not only factual, but complimentary. I still don't understand how saying "Group A has an advantage over other groups and I want more of those people on my team" is somehow offensive to Group A. It's also interesting to note that I didn't actually see or hear any black person take offense (not even Jessie Jackson, although I'm sure he would have). So the white members of the media are now deciding what does and what doesn't offend black people? Ugh. This whole sorry episode was completely disgusting, and I've written every columnist who has said something on the subject to blast them, granting that it will do absolutely no good.

    I actually agree with Collin. How many white running backs are there in the NFL? zero. Only a handful of WR's in the NFL are white (Ricky Proehl, Wayne Chrebet, Seattle Seahawks) and almost all DE's are black. Black people are much faster than whites.
