    For the same reason everyone else in the southeast started calling them fish camps.

    Big Daddy's on hwy 150 out by Lake Norman just west of Mooresville USED to be the shizzle. Blue Bay on hwy 70 east of Statesville IS the shizzle. Aint none better.

    Laney's (seafood restaurant) in Mooresville has a sign out front that reads "Laney's Fish Camp". Fish Camps are very common in the south and to southerners.

    So I drove past Capt Steves on Monroe the other night on my way to the hockey game and geez the parking lot was packed and it was a traffic jam trying to get in and out of there. Must be good.
