    one year the vikes didnt show up...

    0-41...vikes/giants game. 'twas a total nightmare! year 2000, i think. coulda been 1999. anyhoo...my point is...it sucked big time! i still remember it like as if it was yesterday!

    this loss was just a game. it aint the play offs. shake it off!

    I agree that zero points does suck, royally, but I actually like the fact he went for the TD on 4th down. We would have been settling if we went for a FG, and I never want to settle. You always go all out, and never back down. We may get beaten like we did today, but the minute we settle for less, is the minute we accept mediocraty.

    And I seriously doubt 30-3 feels any better than 30-0 to the players, only us fans. They know that regardless of any possible FG, they still got thier asses handed to them. So I think going for a TD sends the message to the team that no matter what, we will fight till the end (although that message would have been more timely a week earlier ).

    FG wouldn't have made much difference, but going for 3 or 7 doesn't add up to their whole "percentages" bullshit that keeps us from going "all out" on third downs.
