Not really all that surprising, I guess. I like the features, but really didn't have any expectations of how long it would take some genious to poke all the holes in it.

You knew the day would come.

Oh well, I'll probably still use it just to force M$ to be accountible and on its toes.

    Since I was cued...

It's just a matter of market-share...I'd bet, on the whole, that MSFT products are some of the best in security that are out there. And that sucks, cuz they still have HUGE holes sometimes... But there is HUGE effort put into making them secure, whereas other companies and open-source products may not have the same level of effort and expertise applied.

Regardless, it is good to have competition in every area, especially in computing. We definitely benefit by forcing everyone involved to work a little harder and be more creative.

I got tired of compatability issues and having to load plugins for everything when I wanted a small tad of a multimedia experience.

It ran its course with me, and I ended up back with IE.

Amen to both of the last posts. I'm back with IE now, except when I'm doing user testing and need the FireFox developer's plugin. Both are installed, but I use IE for day-to-day surfing.

Never changed from IE not even to see what Firefox was like.

The plugin thing can be a pain. That's the price you pay for a small-sized core program.

....you say that, but why all the hype about competing with M$/IE if it's going to be a "small-core" program?

It's like I said: the core app is about 4MB.
