    Until they play some true defense this will happen again. Like the talking heads said on ESPN this mornig. Bynum in the middle, Gasolf at the 4 and send Odom packing for a scorer that can also play defense

    Boston doesn't hate you; it feels sorry for you.

    My favorite moments, non game:

    1. the fans booing Stuart Scott when he was introduced.

    2. the fans booing David Stern when he was introduced.

    3. the fans starting the "Dee-fense" chant after Doc said "defense is what got us here" during his interview at center court.

    I know he isn't as good as Odom and I love him from college but The Lakers could really use a guy like Shane Battier. He could play the three, take on the team's best opposing scorer, he gets around 10 points a game, is an outstanding teammate and locker room guy and is a great defender which the Lakers need badly

    Sure he is. Odom's a 3/4 tweener who isn't strong enough to play against good power forwards, or quick enough to play the Paul Pierce's or Lebron's of the world. Battier is one of the top defensive wingmen in the league. They don't need ball handler, just a defender that can knock down open jumpers. Get rid of Odum, and send Radmonovich to the bench or trade him.

    Battier would be exactly what the Lakers need. With Bynum coming back, Battier would completely overhaul their frontline. Bynum/Odum/Gasol.

    Or a James Posey. Same kind of guy, but older.

    I'm sure once Boston got to know Collin they, like everyone else, would hate him.
