Yeah, I wasn't commenting on Gasol's ability, purely his asthetic.

Kobe had 30 pts and 8 assists while shooting 48%. Is that going out like a bitch? Pierce has got to be the MVP so far. He's been outstanding.

I hate seeing the FTs at 38 for Boston 10 for LA. Something just seems wrong with that.

Lakers played bad but that was more homer-ism than you usually see in an NBA game. I know NBA officials are some of the worst in all of sports but that was pretty bad last night. I don't care who wins (I wish both could lose to be honest) but so far this has been a bad series.

He's down 0-2. If his team gets swept, is that going out like a bitch?

If they get swept and the next two games he plays more like game 1 than game two, yeah he'll be going out like a bitch. If he plays like last night and they get swept, I would say his team went down like bitches and dragged him down. Those stats last night also include him sitting down for most of the 2nd quarter because of pansy foul calls, so last night, I don't think he was anyone's bitch other than maybe the refs.

He was amazing in the fourth quarter, no doubt. If he plays like that for a full game they won't get swept. Hell if he plays like that the rest of the series LA still has a shot.

lopsided yes, but what do you expect with a team full of jump shooters.

I'd expect something more like 38-25, or 38-20. Sure LA is going to have less free throws, but I expect Pau Gasol, Kobe Bryant, or even Derrick Fisher to get the benefit of the doubt calls a few more times the Powe. And I don't expect the best player in the game (kobe) to get the lamest foul calls on him in the game. The third foul he had called on him was pretty ludicrous.

Look for the LA free throw attempts to go up, but I still think Boston will win it in 6

Lakers drove quite a bit, perhaps too much some said, rather than cut without the ball. Home court advantage with the refs was in full play last night.

That said, Lakers really need to hit more jumpers. Even Kobe's relatively good night wasn't so good from outside, only 6 of 15 out of the paint. They need to hit some jumpers to try and extend the Boston D. Right now, they are packed in the paint.
