i still dont think it should be in uptown. Where the stadium is now brings a lot of people to a part of the carolinas where nobody knows about. Uptown doesn't need another sport and in a couple of years tey wont beable to afford it anyways and then there wont be a charlotte knights

There is no reason the CHARLOTTE Knights should be playing in south Carolina in the boonies. No one ever goes to Knights games and I think moving it downtown will attract fans and it will be a lot more convenient. It's been a long time coming.

It's hard to get anyone to head south of the border since North Carolina finally go the lottery. Great move putting a park downtown, er...uptown Charlotte.

Hate to tell you this, but Fort Mill isn't in the boonies of SC. No, it isn't all that convenient to downtown Charlotte, if you're north of Charlotte, but it's hardly out in the middle of nowhere.

I doubt I would have any idea where Fort Mill was if it wasn't for Carowinds and the Knights, so I don't think he's that far off.

Out in the boonies was an exaggeration but it's more than 30 minutes away from southeast Charlotte. And no one goes to Knights games except on the 4th of July. They have one of the worst attendance numbers in AAA last time I checked.
